There are no limits in design of a Snowtubing Parc. But the safety of the riders has to be the most important factor every time.

There are three different types of slopes:

• slope with curves like a Bobsleigh-track
• straight waveslopes without curves
• Mix, between the above two slopes

The average gradient should be between 12 % and 25 %. The finish area has to be designed depending on the type of the slopes. A flat and long runout gives snowtubers the best and safest way to decelerate.

The more complex the terrain and the slope is, the less technical aids are applicable. Therefore snow groomers are helpful for straight wavy slopes, on flat terrains. On slopes with more curves excavators are popular aids, but frequently this slopes need manual work.

Mantainance and preparation

Taking care for the whole snowtubing parc is the most important factor for perfect function and maximum safety. That means, that the sidewalls and the track have to be maintained, the tubes have to be controlled, the riders have to be instructed etc.

Another crucial point for the design and the mantainance of the Tubing slope, are the changing wheater conditions.
Depending on the temperature, the snow conditions, and other similar conditions, the same Tubing slope has other characteristics and can be faster or slower. The consideration of the factors is a must in the view of safety.

Ascending aid

The ascending aid has to work in a comfortable and straightforwarding way. This is, why SunKid Wondercarpets are the best choise for it.

A SunKid Wondercarpet is more efficent than a Snowtubing Lift, because of the following reasons:

As written above a good mantained Snowtubing slope is a prerequisite.
