The SunKid Gallery enclosure was first developed on the Stubai Glacier together with the Tyrol provincial government. Since then, over 7.000 m (23,000' ft) of SunKid Gallery have been installed as enclosure for lifts in various locations.

The SunKid Gallery conveyor lift enclosure protects passengers from snow, rain, wind, and cold. Not only guests, but also operators, benefit from the SunKid Gallery – with quick start-up and minimal maintenance requirements even under the most extreme weather conditions and snowfall.

The patented SunKid Radius side exit represents a new philosophy for conveyor lift exits. With the side exit, passengers can choose to exit the conveyor either to the left or the right when they reach the last conveyor section before the upper station.

This conveyor section is constructed as a curve (Radius), allowing the passenger to simply rotate on his or her skis at the high point of the curve (on the point with the smallest contact surface) to exit the lift. In addition, the system includes side exit railings which the passenger can hold to assist in rotation. The SunKid Radius side exit has many advantages, including reducing the need for occasional shut downs and minimizing accumulation of snow at the conveyor entrance, thereby allowing nearly maintenance-free operation during the day.

Depending on project requirements, SunKid either uses POM link chain technology or endless belt technology.

The belt is also adapted to specific requirements. SunKid either employs the "Rough Top" belt or their very own "Blue Eye" model. Depending on the total length of the system, additional tension layers can be added to guarantee necessary stability.

SunKid is the only producer offering widths of 500 mm (19.7'' in), 600 mm (23.6'' in), 750 mm (29.5'' in), 900 mm (35.4'' in) and 1200 mm (47'' in) for their Wonder Carpets, based on a functional base structure.

Additional width provides more convenience and comfort for skiers, snowboarders, sledgers and pedestrians, both when riding and exiting.

The side covers can be constructed upon request as hinged models. The hinged model has a cover divided into two sections, with the outer section fixed to the conveyor lift section by two screws. A very robust hinge allows the inner part of the cover to fold open to 110°.

SunKid is the first producer to develop a unique glide surface that improves friction characteristics of the conveyor belt. The Super Slide Layer guarantees less friction and minimal abrasion, resulting in lower maintenance and service requirements.
