Exposed T-Bar lift trails, access areas or icy exit points of cableways are but a few examples of areas in ski resorts which are very costly to maintain in proper condition.

Be it low altitude, a location exposed to the sun, general shortage of snow or the sports enthusiasts themselves who shift snow around in a short amount of time… To make matters worse, these highly frequented “hotspots” at a ski resort are often out of the range of direct snowfall. This means in turn that snow must frequently be transported to these difficult locations.

Features of the plastic matting:

  • Particularly easy and quick installation on ground, grass, wood, asphalt and cement. Removal of the matting leaves no visible traces
  • The individual segments (approx. 1 ft x 9” = 40x23cm) are connected with each other using a connector system and therefore ANY surface can be constructed.
  • Perfect transversal grip, thanks to a special material mix, special design of the matting, thickness of the bristles and low friction which allows for problem-free carving on edge.
  • The U.S.T.I.F. (Uffici speciali per i trasporti a impianti fissi) has officially confirmed that our plastic matting has the same sliding properties as snow. The impression proves itself true when skiing (no abrupt slowdowns or the like).
  • A watering and drainage system to guarantee sliding ability is not necessary.
