SunKid and BORER Lift AG contributes to the expansion of the children's area at Grüsch-Danusa
Grüsch-Danusa expands children's area with help from SunKid and BORER
The small and unique Grüsch-Danusa resort values its position as a true insider destination in the Swiss Alps. Upon arrival at the intermediate lift station, visitors are greeted by a world of top-notch winter fun for the whole family. In addition to the slopes, backcountry trails, and hiking paths, the children's ski land is a focus of the operators' pride! A beginners' area has been created over the last several years, featuring a total of four Wonder Carpets and a Rotondo ski and tubing carousel. When children's eyes fall upon the new children's land, their hearts beat faster in expectation!
Foxi-Land has been expanded!
The partnership between Grüsch-Danusa Lifts and the BORER company began in 2005. Two Wonder Carpets were installed at that time - one fitted with the Gallery enclosure system. These enhancements significantly improved and updated the offerings for children. But high popularity quickly made conditions too crowded, so the operators decided to expand the existing facilities for the 2010 winter season.
The expansion was undertaken in cooperation with BORER Lift AG. Two new conveyor belts were necessary for the new design - at 60m and 75m respectively. The resulting new slopes are perfect for easy-intermediate skiers. The improvements round out the offerings at Grüsch-Danusa perfectly. In addition, the local ski school is especially grateful for the new facilities and improved offering.
A Rotondo ski and tubing carousel is available for the children during breaks as well. Children especially enjoy being pulled by the Rotondo. The Rotondo offers a variety of features to help with instruction of carving technique and also for fun and games during breaks.
